Algorand's ATX Event Explores NFT Power, Gaming Future, Featuring DMC Launching a STOI and Premiering a New Song

Insight: Our team had a goal to create a destination where people could explore the intersection of next-generation technology with culture. After a two-year gap, AlgoRanch visitors had the opportunity to experience the future of music, gaming, art, and finance. All of these were built on the carbon-negative, secure, and scalable Algorand blockchain. The event also featured some special guests, including hip-hop legend DMC, a pioneering political candidate, and an iconic magazine.

Approach: We organized the ATX Event to explore the power of NFTs and the future of gaming, among other topics.

As an Art Director and hands-on designer, my responsibility was to develop the visual identity of the event. This involved creating designs for billboards, roll-up banners, backdrops, social media posts, merchandise, coasters, pedicab wraps, and PowerPoint presentations. The aim was to create a consistent and engaging brand presence across all deliverables. In addition, I supervised the creation of video assets and designed slides for speakers, including timelines, names, and titles.

My Role: Art Director / Concept Development / Design / PPT Presentations

Shrina Kurani, a congressional candidate, launched an NFT fundraiser on Abris, an Algorand-based platform, to raise awareness of climate issues.

DMC, a member of the iconic hip-hop group RUN-DMC, visited AlgoRanch to debut his latest song “Million Scars” and launch it as a Song That Owns Itself (STOI).

SPIN’s first NFT auction from AlgoRanch featured Machine Gun Kelly on the cover, with more iconic covers to follow.
