Faded to black 47 marquee billboards to demonstrate energy consumption. This stunning visual saved 23.4 billion joules of energy.

Algorand is a company that promotes the idea of environmentally conscious crypto, highlighting the possibility of making investment and innovation choices online that consume less power than a small country. They emphasize that eco-friendliness and innovation can coexist. 

To showcase Algorand’s carbon-negative blockchain and the potential of green technology, we took over Times Square on Earth Day 2022. We flooded the iconic intersection with Algorand's green branding across 47 marquee billboards before fading them to black to demonstrate energy consumption. This stunning visual saved 23.4 billion joules of energy.

My primary responsibility was to establish the visual identity of the event. This involved developing the design of billboards and social media assets, ensuring that there was a consistent and captivating brand presence throughout the event. Additionally, I supervised the production of video assets to ensure that they also aligned with the established visual identity.

I created digital assets to commemorate Earth Day. These assets were instrumental in raising awareness about the significance of environmental conservation and spreading the word about Algorand's carbon-negative blockchain and the potential of green technology.
